Shipping & Refunds
All items will have a shipping estimate added to your invoiced amount. We will try to ship your item the next business day - some will go out the same day.
We generally prefer to ship most of your items via Canada Post (CP) or USPS to addresses in the USA or Canada. Smaller items may be cost effective to ship to other countries as well but the weight and wait times extend the costs and length of time that shipments require significantly (and increses the risk of damage along the way). Some but not all of CP delivery options include an online tracking feature at any cost - with some options online tracking may be purchased by the buyer at an additional cost. We will always attempt to use the lowest cost and most reasonable delivery times available - you are welcome to request additional services ( at added cost) as your preference. We will work with you to provide the most appropriate option available.
Canada Post does not guarantee fragile items will not arrive damaged. Our experience as an ebayer really indicates that most parcels with fragile contents WILL arrive damaged - no matter how well packaged - we're assuming neither of us wants that outcome. CP provides a default insurance value of $100 cdn. Any amounts of insurance the buyer wishes above that are at the buyer's expense. We'd be happy to ship with your courier if you prefer. You would need to arrange pick-up through them directly yourself and pickup can be at any of our business hours during the regular work week.
For your information any international shipment requires your phone number for the customs process. Please insure your order information includes your phone number. In fact if it's not entered into the original customs form the form itself can't be completed. Your order will be delayed therefore. Custom services in your country may charge you an additional customs tax. We can't estimate these for any shipment. Customs processes may also delay the delivery of your item significantly.
As you are mostly buying one of a kind items we will not provide refunds in most situations. Please contact us for any additional details or information you require before you buy. Many of our items are previously owned and/or vintage so may have slight blemishes or defects. Like any auction - that is the the nature of all of our offerings. Please be certain the item meets your expectations BEFORE you buy it. In any case, returns will only be accepted, when pre-approved by us, and by prepaid freight or post at the buyers expense.
Damage during transit and delivery can be claimed to Canada Post or your courrier. Some payment processors or credit card companies have a buyer protection plan that may serve you in some instances.
